Your higher education jouney begins here.

1st Step: You must be a Secondary School Graduate with WAEC, NECO or NABTEB result to qualify for Tertiary Education in Nigeria. (Holders of GCE Result are also accepted)

2nd Step: You need to decide what course to study. Consult the JAMB Brochure for requirements and details about your preferred course.

3rd Step: Choose an institution for your study. Make sure they offer your desired course - Choose from Top Universities in Nigeria or See Institutions by States.

4th Step: Know your school of choice minimum cutoff mark for your choosen choice. See List of Cutoff marks by Schools

5th Step: Register for JAMB UTME Here. Try to score above the minimum cutoff mark required for your course.

6th Step: Check the List of Post UTME Forms. Obtain the Screening Form of your school of choice. Complete the screening exercise.

7th Step: Check your admission status on school's admission list or JAMB Portal. Accept your admission on JAMB Portal.

8th Step: Congrats! Complete the neccessary registration in school to become a formal undergraduate student.

You can get admission to the second year (200L) in several Universities in Nigeria without writing JAMB Exams. This process is called Direct Entry. This is ways to go about it.

1st Step: You must complete an A'Level programme like IJMB, JUPEB or Cambridge A’level. Moreover, an ND, NCE or HND Lower Credit certificate holder can as well apply for Direct Entry into 200L in the University.

2nd Step: Course to study? You can choose the same course at your A'Level or something similar that is on offered at your university of chouce. Consult the JAMB Brochure for more.

3rd Step: Choose a University that accepts Direct Entry. Make sure they offer your desired course.

4th Step: Register for JAMB Direct Entry Here. Unlike UTME, DE candidates are not expected to write JAMB CBT exams. Note, you can use awaiting result during registration if you are yet to obtain your A'Level result.

5th Step: Complete the Direct Entry Registration of your school of choice. Note some universities may choose to conduct a post-DE exams.

6th Step: Check your admission status on school's DE admission list or JAMB Portal. Accept your admission on JAMB Portal.

7th Step: Congrats! Complete the neccessary registration in school to become a formal undergraduate student.
